Frequently asked questions

WE ANSWER ALL YOUR QUESTIONS

All patients programmed for a frozen embryo transfer, infertile patients with a history of multiple implantation failures as well as those involved in egg/embryo donations.
The test will allow to precisely identify the exact timing within the theoretical implantation window when your endometrium is receptive. Your physician can thus customize the frozen embryo transfer timing according to the WIN-TEST results. For this reason, it is mandatory to prepare in the exact same conditions (protocol, treatment) both cycles (biopsy and frozen embryo transfer).
The WIN-TEST is based on the quantification by quantitative PCR of 11 genes specific to the endometrial receptivity from an endometrial biopsy. This test allows you to specifically identify the day when your endometrium is said receptive.
Simply contact your gynecologist who will follow you throughout your ART procedure. If your gynecologist is not able to perform the biopsy, you can contact us by email so that we can refer you to other gynecologists who may be able to take care of you for the WIN-TEST.
We advise you to perform two endometrial biopsies at 48h intervals. In case of recurrent implantation failures, the first biopsy should be performed at the timing of the previous blastocyst transfers. In case of prospective testing in patients without previous failures, the first biopsy should be performed 5-6 days after progesterone administration in HRT cycles, or 6-8 days after the LH surge in natural cycles. The second biopsy should be planned 48 hours later. The objective being to identify your window of receptivity, the strategy of the double evaluation will allow you to save time and avoid additional treatments. Examples: under THS, biopsies at Pg+6 and Pg+8; in natural cycle, biopsies at LH+7 and LH+9. Do not hesitate to contact us if you have any doubt about the moments of the biopsies (contact@gainlab.fr).

As the results of the WIN-TESTS are provided within 8 days post-reception of biopsies, the transfer cycle can therefore be programmed as soon as the first cycle after the WIN-TEST.

As soon as you decide to use the WIN-TEST, simply contact us and complete the WIN-TEST pre-order form on our website. The WIN-TEST kit will be sent to your home address. The kit has to be kept at room temperature and an expiry date will be indicated on the kit.
After ordering the WIN-TEST online on our website, you will receive an e-mail with the documents to complete (Patient chart, Information Note and Informed Consent). It will also be necessary to attach a copy of serology less than one year old. The documents are also downloadable on our website.
