GAIN continue son effort de recherche pour développer de nouveaux tests innovants en AMP

GAIN continues its research effort to develop innovative new ART tests. The key to pregnancy success:
the concomitant exploration of embryonic competence and endometrial receptivity

Embryonic viability

Embryo viability is a crucial issue in the success of the attempt.

Currently, in ART, the selection of transferred embryos is based simply on the chronology of the development of the embryo and its morphological quality: this step is therefore relatively subjective.
GAIN is currently developing a test to estimate the viability of the embryos, without affecting its integrity.

This technique is based on the quantification of extracellular DNA (cell-free DNA) released by the embryo conceived in vitro in the culture medium. Indeed, an embryo releases extracellular DNA into the culture medium and this DNA may be a predictive biomarker of embryonic quality and be used as a non-invasive pre-implantation genetic test.

Embryoscan

The ambition of GAIN is the development of an embryoscan.

It is a non-invasive 3D scan of the embryo allowing a better observation of the embryonic development in comparison with the 2D microscopy technologies currently used in ART centers.
